Cumberland Falls State Resort Park in Kentucky (USA) has fabulous irises! In fact they have so many, it’s difficult to isolate one from the group. I had to do a lot of erasing in Paint Shop Pro in order to remove the neighboring irises from this picture, but now the full beauty of this one comes shining through! High Key editing was then applied to desaturate the color for a misty, pale look. A linen texture layer was then added.
Season: May 6th, spring.
