Artist's Description

Here is a lovely spot to spend a spring day, despite an occasional rain sprinkle! The Bridge of Flowers is located in the village of Shelburne Falls in the Berkshire Mountains of western Massachusetts (USA). It started out as a trolley bridge in 1908, but the trolley service ended in 1928. Then in 1929 funds were raised to plant the abandoned trolley bridge with flowers. There is a wide walkway across this Bridge, but no cars are allowed. Each plant and shrub has a name tag, which is most helpful to garden enthusiasts. Quaint gift shops and art galleries fill this town and some can be seen at the left of this photo. The Deerfield River flows beneath the Bridge.
Canon EOS REBEL T1i, Canon Zoom Lens EF-S 18-55mm.
Location: Shelburne Falls, Massachusetts (USA).
