The Bridge of Flowers is located in Shelburne Falls, a village in the Berkshire Mountains of Massachusetts (USA). The buildings along the River are all quaint shops and art galleries which project out over the water and offer the shopper lovely views of the Bridge and the River.
The Bridge of Flowers started out as a trolley bridge in 1908. This went out of business in 1928 and in 1929, funds were raised to transform the abandoned trolley bridge into The Bridge of Flowers, a lovely place for walking.

A well composed picture of this beautiful place, must be a joy to cross the bridge!
In previous years I have avoided including these dilapidated old shops in my many photos, but this year with the weather close to rain, I think the heavy atmosphere softened the shabby look. The town is very quaint. ;) Thanks for commenting!
