When you live on the east side of a very large hill, you don’t see the sunset, and when you live on the east coast, the sun doesn’t set into the ocean. But on an island off the east coast it’s possible to gaze west over water and see the sun go down and slip into the sea or in this case beyond the long pier that extends way out from the far shore. Of the many photos I took, this one is probably my most dramatic.
