you wrap your arms around me before
you even open your eyes in the morning,
is best when it’s drizzly, and
the sky can’t make up it’s mind.
When we are each others blankets, bundled safe
and cozy in our messy-morning sheets,
all I want is
to drink you in,
with my fingertips on your skin,
and warm my bones.
