My artistic objective is to perceive movement. The subject matter will not always be in motion, but there will always be dynamics by way of attitude. When that attitude emerges, I want it to grab hold and shake things up a bit. I have a way of zooming in on my subjects so that they each emerge with a distinctive personality. You’ll see that I paint from a highly personal viewpoint. With vivid color and an atypical perspective, I hope to strike an emotional chord.
