Springtime in a Yorkshire Village by

Brompton (home of aviation) is a lovely little village 8 miles from Scarborough. It has a picturesque stream running through the centre with ducks and geese always grateful for a tasty morsel.
Sir George Cayley lived in Brompton and in 1853, invented a glider and was the first person to fly in his Cayley Glider over Brompton Dale.

I’ve been taking photos for as long as I can remember, and although the majority are taken on holidays abroad, I also like photographing flowers and animals. Since retiring last year, I have a lot more spare time and always make sure that wherever I go, my camera goes too.
