Child; Wife; Mother; Artist; Poet, journeying home….probably in that order. Grew up in Africa-my home for 35 years, now live in a little town in England. Grateful that I may reside here but miss the African light. Grateful that life continues with my children provided for, yet yearn for them to feel the African rain on their faces.
My love affair with imaging people and life, through colour, paper and words, began when I was 8 years old and it has been a constant tumultuous ride between other ‘priorities’ and ‘responsibilities’. I have tried to live without succumbing to my creative urges, and just getting the jobs done that need doing…but the spirit longs for expression! My time is limited, but my will is strong. My life is a beautiful but a crazy journey in hindsight so far… may it continue to inspire me to adhere to the calling on my soul to participate in the adventures The Creator as laid out for me.
