Smoky Mountain Hideaway

Tucked away in the shadows of the Smoky Mountains, is Noah Ogle’s Place. Built abound 1880 by Noah an Cindy Ogle the closed section was built 1st.The far end section was built after having kids. turning it from a single pen to a saddlebag design. Through the efforts of the National Park Service, this historic Appalachian cabin has been preserved.

This is located on the Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park,outside of Gatlinburg,Tennessee,USA

    Well, after the Gators lost to LSU, perhaps I need a hideaway like this. great composition Gary with the exposed tree roots in the FG, excellent shaft of light on the cabin and sweet shadows all around. very nicely done.

    Beautiful Shot!!! I was up there this past weekend and the Motor Nature Trail is closed for the winter, open back up in April. I was counting on getting photos from up there….LOL You really did an awesome job with this!!!! Kim
