Beautiful shot, Gary! Pretty nifty standing on the second highest peak east of the Mississippi River (some will argue that Mt. Craig, attached to Mt. Mitchell, is actually higher; but geographers tend to think Clingmans is the second highest). Lovely sky, I like the polarization. It is a real shame about the wooly adelgid and the balsam fir. I think that there won’t be any firs left in a few years. Good work! Cheers! Chris
