Steam locomotive Mikado 2-8-2 3254 in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Originally belonged to the Canadian National’s class S-1-b, built by Canadian Locomotive Company in 1917. Canadian law required even freight locomotives to have “cowcatcher” pilots, as opposed to the footboard pilot common on freight power in the United States. This 3254 steam locomotive design would be the perfect gift for the train enthusiast.
