    Beautiful work Susan..how wonderful to be able to paint like this..what medium did you use/..I thought at first it was a photo..it does look so real !!

    Thanks everyone for your wonderful comments.

    My medium is alkyds. This is a slow drying oil paint made by Winsor Newton. The thing I like best about alkyds is that the paint is dry by the next day which makes it easy to keep working on the painting.

    Congratulations, Susan. Your work is beautiful:-) I had no idea that alkyds dried so quickly. THis is certainly an advantage over traditional oil paints.
