The revelation

“Why do you not
Reveal yourself?”
Whispered the shadow
“But I have”
Sang the breeze
“Do you not see?”
And with that
A sweet melody
Kissed the entity
To make him whole
In awe
He finally realised
He was free
To be himself
So he walked out
Into the light
The sun and moon
Beamed
The stars took
Delight
And all the creatures
Of the earth
Rejoiced
“So this is what it is
To be alive!”
He stood legs splayed
Arms raised
Face uplifted
And sang in
The song of life
Such joy
Had never been heard before
When he finished
He laid down
The birds and animals
The trees and flowers
All came
To surround him
His task now complete
He became
No more for
Hope was born…
