The waters of life

With each step
I transcend
Closer
To the womb
Immersed
I turn
In a foetal position
I am gently buffeted
My heartbeat
The only sound
And I know
I am home

there is a ritual bath in Judaism that is primary to its culture. it is built 1st even before a synagogue . its called a mikvah. the waters are considered ‘living’ and it where one can return to the ‘source’
this is my experience…

My images and writing are unfiltered or edited. i just shoot the photos, create the pictures and the words come from somewhere inside without much if any thought or consideration.
My desire is that they might effect someone in a positive way…
A footnote… I’ve explored PS with cars…!

How one would think about the sacred space, the safety and comfort of what ‘home’ is to them. My interpretation anyway. xx

Turning inward to the beginning where it was safe and warm. I long for that peace and safety again.

  • there is a ritual bath called a mikvah that i use where i can do this and it allows me to feel connected to the source…
