Stuck

She sits;
For all intents and purposes,
Like any other person
Nice straight spine
Well groomed
When food is placed in front of her
She displays impeccable etiquette
In fact just about
Any function necessary
She can do.
But should you dare
Make eye contact
She will stare straight through;
A gaze,
Devoid of any humanity…
Her family
Are understanding
Forgiving even…
Her child
Would sit on her knee
Chatting amicably…
No reply.
When she came for comfort…
No hint of comprehension.
But how many scraped knees
How many tears
Before the pain in her heart
Renders her to feel unloved?
Her Beloved
Knows the facts
Understands the science
Yet
How many years of
No affection
No intimacy
Of
No-thing
Can he endure?
She has became
Her anathema
The antithesis of who she was
A non-person
She is the
Living dead…
This family resides
In a house of
Tortured sadness…

we take for granted; our mind, our memory, who we are…
imagine that it was taken away
this jot and the one previously explore that

My images and writing are unfiltered or edited. i just shoot the photos, create the pictures and the words come from somewhere inside without much if any thought or consideration.
My desire is that they might effect someone in a positive way…
A footnote… I’ve explored PS with cars…!

Even Science has found that children can actually die from lack of human contact.

  • i wonder if that part of the brain (frontal lobe) is destroyed would contact even be acknowledged??

I don’t know but I have read several cases where people had lived a normal life like a average college student who had to have an x-ray on his head. They found he had no brain. The gray matter in his head was the size of a walnut. The rest was spinal fluid. There have been many cases like this. Or people who have a crowbar driven through their head and survived. His personality eventually changed but he was able to live and work. It has been a constant debate as to where the Mind exists. Can Mind exist without a Brain? It seems so. No one can say where the mind resides. I think the ancient Greeks thought the mind resided in the Heart.

  • hmm when we 1st start forming as an embryo the tiny brain /spine is connected to both the heart and gut… so when we ‘feel’ heart or gut its absolutely true.
i hope the next while doesn’t challenge where my mind is…
    thanks for caring
