The looking glass

A face of
No expression. Skin
Opaque… A
Grim line that was a
Opens and closes like a
Beached fish… Yet the
Mirror doesn’t
Fog for she has
No breath
She has
Long forgotten dreams
Ideas unrealized
Cloth unstitched
Lay at her feet.
Cemented by her
Inability to
Think, to
Move, to
Create. Further
Bound by a
Wound so
Deep that
Traverse despair would seem
Easy by
She is
A husk and is
Cut off from her
Soulful self that can
Lead to
Destruction and
Yet also to
New beginnings…

How much can you bare…
You can stand no more?

When will your discontent
To rage and
Free you?

Do you live in a dream-world
Where fairies take
Suppositories instead of you
Living life?
To ache
Is to feel… There is
No shame to
Cry. To
Howl. To
Rant or rave!
Do what-ever is
Necessary to
Ignite your
Flame! To
Reacquaint you with your
Do not put off…
Wait until…
BE NOW and
Let tomorrow figure
Itself out…

Artist's Description
