The room

A tear slips silently from the corner of her eye
Her grief palpable
It seems the Room contracts and expands
with each silent sob…
The Floor unsteady from her heaving chest
But it is the ceiling and walls that try desperately to
contain her.
Nothing works.
Pieces that were She are irrevocably gone out through the Window of her mind;
never to be regained.
There is no point in being angry at the Window for it was She who
opened it to provide fresh air…

    What flies away leaves us with space for renewal of a different kind. I’m glad she opened the window and released what was. A wonderful work Susanne, open windows, fresh air, optimism and faith perhaps…xo
