One day she arrived
At the edge of the world
Thankful she now stopped
To sit on a rocky outcrop
She gazed at the sunset
The moon did rise
And the stars twinkled hello
Tired beyond measure
She fell into a deep slumber
Whereby she
Dreamed of feeling safe
In a place where she was loved
Slowly she awoke
By the warmth of the sun
Refreshed from the dew
That had pooled nearby
With realisation a deep calm
Enveloped her body
She was and had always been home
For indeed her sanctuary
