The virtue of patience

The ghost of chaos
Settled down to think
An anathema for all
Intents and purposes
But given the circumstances
Was perhaps best…
It seemed there had been
Immense effort by those
Snivelling humans to
Quells his endevours
And all that was left
Was this unsettling calm
“What could possibly be born
Out of that?” he wondered aloud
“No opposing forces
Not even a breath of fresh air
Unnatural at best!” he spat
But then realisation dawned
Like an ice-burg
He sat;
A mere suggestion
Of what lay beneath
And waited…
