Thanks Sarah. It’s the latest from my “Bicycle” series. Good think bikes are very common in Cambridge so didn’t have to wait long till some bikers got into the composition.
Thanks Charlistar! I am glad you like my work! It means a lot!

Good to see you and your works again! This photo is very stunning. Great detail….sharp, great perspective and subject. Lighting is fantastic. Perfect! :)
A very striking B&W to add to the series with a good strong tonal range and contrast. While I do like the composition very much, I feel however that your framing/cropping is a bit too tight top and bottom and that if the leaning post was emerging from our top left corner, it would look less like it was cutting the image in two. I really like the stationary bicycle as opposed to the two moving cyclists and you great use of highlight and shadow. Depth of field and focus are very good as is your processing. Great work that man!
Thank you very much Mr Dennis for your constructive advice. I can see what you mean, it might have been a good idea to give some more room for the bike’s front tire and the building’s lightnign rod in the frame. Unfortunatelly, this isn’t cropped, it’s framed like this, so there’s really nothing I can do about it now. The problem with ultra wide angle lenses is that most of the times you end up with lots of empty spaces, and it’s something I want to avoid in my photography, maybe i was a bit over zealous this time :) As for the post, what can i say there was nothing I could do about it, and I don’t think that something was done since then :) Thank you for visiting! Your comments are always wellcome!
It was a beautiful day indeed. Overcast for the greatest part of it but once in a while the sun would get through the clouds. That was one of those moments! I’m glad you like it Lisa. This picture does hold nice memories for me!
