It depends really. I don’t think really, really young kids are going to get much from it, but I could be wrong. Both my wife and brother are teachers and both have read it in their classrooms. My wife to fourth and fifth graders and my brother to older (but autistic) kids. I got an email from someone a while back who bought it and has used it with adults in a drug rehab center who had nothing but positive things to say about .
