The Possessed Puppets
After years and years of having strange people insert hands into their hind quarters, up through their guts, and into their heads in order to mockingly animate their lifeless corpses with comical movements and embarrassingly lame voices, the puppets have revolted.
Infused with demonic strength, an insatiable thirst for flesh, and fueled by the need for revenge, their one and only goal is to see us all dead and they will not stop until the job is done.
You can run, but they’re faster. You can hide, but they’ll find you. You can call the police, but oops…the police are already dead.
Their flimsy plush arms are extensions of the devil himself and there is no escape.
The Possessed Puppets belongs to the following groups:
Cute-n-Creepy, Drawn to Cotton- Art on T-shirts, Humorous Illustrations, Humour Captured, Nerds Unite, Pop Art, Pulp Faction: Comics and Sequential Art and Toys and PuppetsAvailable for sale as T-Shirts

i have to admit, Beaker is my favorite. he looks like what you’d see if you combined the DNA of satan and Bill the Cat in a petrie dish. as always, Steven, well done :)

I love the way at first glance you think ‘aaaww cute, Muppets’, and then you realise ‘ahaa, eeeevilll muppets’. Think I might save up and buy one just to scare some of the local kiddies…
Walker Everette, 10 days ago
Brilliant!
Steven Novak in reply to CATNIPMEOW’s comment, 10 days ago
Thanks! I actually thought the idea was a wee bit lame but after I drew it it instantly became one of my favorites as well. THough maybe I should have included someone other than the flying fish guy…I just really wanted to draw a mustache though. ;)
Steven Novak in reply to DarlaReeves’s comment, 10 days ago
Thanks yet again DarlaReeves!
Steven Novak in reply to butchart’s comment, 10 days ago
Oh man…why did youu have to take it there? I was just drawing simple, demonic, blood thirsty puppets and you had to take it down to that level… ;)
Steven Novak in reply to Jen Cannella’s comment, 10 days ago
Strangely enough Piggy looks kind of like me in the morning. ;)
Steven Novak in reply to Naylor’s comment, 10 days ago
Writing the descriptions are more fun than drawing the art sometimes. ;)
Steven Novak in reply to Alan Rodmell’s comment, 10 days ago
I consider warped a compliment, THANKS ALAN! ;)
Steven Novak in reply to TeriLee’s comment, 10 days ago
Thanks! (I thought the part about the police was funny) ;)
Steven Novak in reply to Tambala’s comment, 10 days ago
Masterpiece and revolting in the same sentence. I like that. ;)
Steven Novak in reply to InvisibleSmith’s comment, 10 days ago
I think I’m going to do just that, but I want to have enough movie/television related ones and do a zombie movie/TV sorta thing. I’m trying to think of a way of getting the descriptions into it as well.
Steven Novak in reply to melonruby’s comment, 10 days ago
Thanks!
Steven Novak in reply to darkestartist’s comment, 10 days ago
Beaker is my favorite even un-zombie-ized. That’s why he gets to be on the top. ;)
Steven Novak in reply to samedog’s comment, 10 days ago
I think I might get one for myself to wear to Disneyland sometime. ;)
Steven Novak in reply to Walker Everette’s comment, 10 days ago

Paul Tupman, 8 days ago
Haha.. this is fantastic.. I’m a child of the seventies and loved these guys! Good job the Swedish Chef isnt around with his big meat cleaver.. there would be zombified limbs crawling all over the place!
Rajee, 7 days ago
Very cool. :D
James Lillis, 7 days ago
Wow -this is a seriously cool, and semi-disturbing. I love Beaker in particular :)
And Gonzo too. Although he looks a bit sad… Great job.
gypsycaster, 6 days ago
Fantabulous!!! And REALLY disturbing!
Adam Carruthers, 6 days ago
gonzo is my favourite – love them all though!
Steven Novak in reply to bahgoesthesheep’s comment, 5 days ago
Thanks! Though honestly it was more Jim Hensons idea than anything. My jealousy over his riches simply made me want to see the characters that lined his pockets dead. ;)
Steven Novak in reply to Chanel2’s comment, 5 days ago
ANIMAL! I should have included Animal instead of the fish throwing guy. Not sure why I didn’t.
Steven Novak in reply to redbubble addict’s comment, 5 days ago
Thanks Maverick! Still alive and kicking, much to the chagrin of my wife who is anxious to cash in on my life insurance. ;)
Steven Novak in reply to Lynda Berlin’s comment, 5 days ago
If the Muppets look like zombies than what do zombies look like? Muppets? Cool. ;)
Steven Novak in reply to Jen Cannella’s comment, 5 days ago
I’ll bring a baseball bat, you bring the brass knucks and only one of us would live to have another morning. ;)
Steven Novak in reply to Ria Rosa Quinto’s comment, 5 days ago
Thanks Ria! I think I should try more toys. He-Man might be comical.
Steven Novak in reply to Karin Taylor’s comment, 5 days ago
Brilliant, huh? Eh, lets not go nuts. It’ maybe half that. It’s brill. ;)
Steven Novak in reply to hikickry’s comment, 5 days ago
Thank you much!
Steven Novak in reply to cheetaah’s comment, 5 days ago
Thanks! I personally liked the stuffing coming out of them. Made me laugh. ;)
Steven Novak in reply to hahpistuff’s comment, 5 days ago
The comical descriptions are meant to mask my somewhat questionable artistic ability. ;)
Steven Novak in reply to Paul Tupman’s comment, 5 days ago
Swedish Chef! CRAP! I should have included him! You need to come to me with these ideas earlier! ;)
Steven Novak in reply to Rajee’s comment, 5 days ago
Thanks!
Steven Novak in reply to James Lillis’s comment, 5 days ago
Gonzo does look a little sad, doesn’t he? He’s the only one with a dangly injured eye, maybe he just feels like a freak? ;)
Steven Novak in reply to gypsycaster’s comment, 5 days ago
Your use of the word “fantabulous” has made my day. Well done! ;)
