Another illustration featuring some characters from my novel. I kind of dig this one. The background is hotter than the surface of the sun! Okay, o maybe I am being a bit dramatic…but it does look pretty cool.

Thanks! Yes, I did write the novel. I have the first draft done right now and I’m working on cleaning up some of the rough edges. (There are unfortunately quite a few). I do think it’s a pretty good read though.

Thanks Agnes, I appreciate that! Like I stated above, I’m still working out some kinks in the story, but I don’t think it’s too bad. My wife’s advice after reading was, “Maybe tone down some of the violence.” I’m not sure what that tells you. ;)

In my experience of working with kids, they’re less afraid of violence than the adults are! LOL

Her argument was this, “Steven, most people just say that the guy got stabbed, but you say the knife sliced into his chest, chipped away at the bone underneath then punctured his liver.” She thinks I’m a wee bit too detailed. I can’t honestly say she’s wrong. ;)
