No thanks needed Dave. It was a lot of fun, and looking through your work to find inspiration was thanks enough. I fully understand that you’ve done a lot more than simply “weird” stuff…but the “weird” stuff was just too fun to draw that I couldn’t pass it up. ;) Glad you liked the results.

Now this art community is looking smaller to me; maybe it’s just because you chose to feature someone I know – this reminds me of when we did comic strips of our teachers in school :P. Dave has been here for less than a year and already he’s a star… Wow you just made me realize how bubblers here are really making an identity of themselves; you’ve really captured Dave’s style. Nice work on that stone head and cat statue. I don’t say that because you posted them in the journal; I’ve seen Dave’s work before; if you flipped through the pages of art in a group and his work was among it, you can recognize it.

Thanks! I used to get in trouble while in school for drawing cartoons of the teachers, now I get compliments. It’s weird how life does that. ;)
