Taken with a Nikon D60 at Coolongatta, QLD, Australia. This is the beginning of the Walk of Remembrance, which commemorates the many lives lost in shipwrecks around Australia during the Second World War. You can see some of the plaques which give details about the sunken ships, and the little padlocks have personal inscriptions written upon them from people who have also lost loved ones or who have celebrated a big occasion. It extends along the cliff face and is a pretty walk. I also love the surfboard shaped seats !
