Artist's Description

Taken with a Nikon D60 at the National Carillon, Canberra, Australia. The Carillon is one of the world’s biggest musical instruments and was opened in 1970 by the Queen, as a gift from the British Government to the people of Australia to celebrate Canberra being 50 years as the Nation’s Capital. The footbridge is named the John Gordon Walk and is named after one of the first carillonists who played it. It has 55 bells that are played with lots of different tunes at various parts of the day and night.
