Taken with a Nikon D60 at Winton, outback Queensland, Australia. This is the statue of Andrew " Banjo " Patterson who wrote one of the most well known Aussie bush ballads ever, and it’s still as popular today as was when he wrote it in 1895. Many people say it’s the unofficial National Anthem of Australia. The Waltzing Matilda centre is a tribute to the song and swagmen all over the country and has some wonderful displays, including the most brilliant laser display I have ever seen. :)
