Taken with a Nikon D60 in Rookwood Necropolis, Sydney, NSW, Australia. Rookwood is perhaps Sydney’s most famous cemetery and this chapel was built in the grounds in the mid 1880’s. Rookwood was first opened in 1868 and is the Southern Hemisphere’s largest necropolis. This place lends itself to the Aussie expression " Crook as Rookwood ", crook meaning to be sick in Aussie slang terms. :) This little chapel is a Catholic Chapel and is still in use today and has been beautifully restored and maintained. It is in the Gothic revival style and a pretty little church I thought.
