Taken with a Nikon D60 at Grenfell, NSW, Australia. This is the birthplace of Henry Lawson who is one of Australia’s most famous poets and writers. He was born in a house on this spot and the white obelisk marks this. The large tree in the background was planted by his daughter Bertha to mark the birth of her father in 1924. Henry was born here in June 1867 and died in 1922.
