The Finnieston crane in Glasgow. Originally made in Carlisle 1931, she stands, a lonely sentinel of the past. Once she lifted Springburn built locomotives onto ships bound for railways all over the world, now her work is to remind us of the glory days of shipping and engineering in Glasgow. A fine headstone for a fine industry R.I.P
