SCOTLANDS HISTORY IN MINIATURE
I am a professional modelmaker, landscape photographer and digital artist. I run a business called Longline Studio where we hand-manufacture ornamental models and artwork depicting Scotlands architectural, transport, Celtic and Pictish subjects.
My work is heavily influenced by the lives of the ordinary Scots through the ages, who through their ideas and efforts have shaped the Scotland of today. My products remember and celebrate our ancestors. I try to depict how people lived and worked in the past. My work is accompanied by the paintings of Scottish artist, C. B. O’Reilly. C.B. uses my models as inspiration and creates wonderful scenes of Scottish life in days gone by.
