Born in Canterbury, Kent, in 1971, I have always been surrounded by beautiful countryside and varied and diverse coastline. Photography has become an outlet for expressing my love for the region.
Such beautiful wispy clouds and colors!!!
Thanks very much indeed

Gorgeous colours from the late evening light Stuart and the reflections of the clouds add a lovely ‘mirrored’ effect what could have been a much less interesting foreground. Nice work.
Thanks Alice, I nearly drove on from this spot when I saw the tide was out (and when it goes out at Pegwell Bay it really goes out. I wandered a far distance from the shore and I still didn’t see the sea!) Fortunately I couldn’t think of where else in Thanet to head that would be any better at low tide so I stuck with it.
Daylight at 11pm!! A distant memory for me mate. Anyway, lovely shot, nice colours and reflections.
Cheers Dave, now if we could just get some warmth to go with the light it would be fine.
It was a beautiful sunset here as well last night…I’m somehow melancholic, as the days will now start getting shorter.Stunning capture – gorgeous tones and reflections.Have a good day.
Thanks Ulla, hope you got some good ones of the sunset too. Fortunately it’ll take a good couple of months before it’s noticeably darker at nights and sunrises become a lot more socially shootable.
Beautiful colours – you definitely caught the best bit of yesterday here!
Thanks Felicity – it’s that mixed bag of weather again :)
Beautiful shot Stuart! great colours!
Thanks very much Joel
Fantastic capture mate! What i’d give for daylight at 11pm. Right now daylight ends at 5.20pm
Cheers Jason, I know what you mean, won’t be long until our daylight changes and it ends at around 4 in the afternoon!
Lovely colours Stuart. Those clouds really glow!
Cheers Geoff, were you out and about to see it. I could see the glow from Birchington from Pegwell Bay :)
I also drove ast your field but it was pitch black by the time I left here
Excellent shot Stuart with wonderful reflective colour.
Thanks Gary. The mud kept a nice layer of water behind. The effort I had to go to not get my footprints in was hard.
