Greetings and salutations

Posted 5 days ago

It’s that time of year again when you ascend into the loft, dust down the boxes and get your Chrimbo decs up.

My RB equivalent is to dust down my version of my RB artist tribute to a classic 80’s song.

Enjoy – And have a good Christmas and all the best for 2010 everyone.

Regards

Stuart

Stat attack

Posted 9 days ago

As fun as statistics are (and some RB members will beg to differ) they can easily be exaggerated to look good or bad depending on the viewpoint given.

Speaking of viewpoints. I shall shortly be approaching 10000000000000000 views on my artwork. A suitably impressive stat worth raising a journal about. However i’ve chosen to represent it in b…

RB debunks the Parento Principle - Stuart's further forays into marketing

Posted 15 days ago

THE PARETO PRINCIPLE
The Pareto principle (also known as the 80-20 rule, the law of the vital few, and the principle of factor sparsity) states that, for many events, roughly 80% of the effects come from 20% of the causes.

RB seems to buck the trend for this, well my images do anyway with:
  1. 53% of my images accounting for 80% of my total views; and (oddly)
  2. 20% of my images accounting…

Help Required

Posted 20 days ago

Instead of a how to journal, here’s a how not to journal instead.

How to not install a Live Traffic Feed on your homepage:

  1. unplug laptop and install wireless components;
  2. leave home and stand in middle of busy road, ignoring commentary about being an idiot;
  3. open up “Manage account” -> “Edit Profile”;
  4. leave laptop in fast lane of motorway at lunchtime (when else would traffic n…

The Test Of Time - note: Mel will just LOVE this journal :)

Posted 2 months ago
I can’t be the only one surely? The new upload system has everyone excited about:
  1. how quickly it uploads;
  2. how you can see the groups;
  3. how it uploads as you enter details, thus saving time;
  4. ooh, doesn’t it look pretty?

No, no and thrice no. The most brilliant fantastical part is the uploaded to RB date. Why? – well surely everyone’s been busy calculating the average views pe…
