I would have thought you would embrace the wet shoe shuffle with open arms…....lovely shot Stu….bigger appature….say f/5 to give the towers a spot of natural blur would be fab!

Gorgeous shot, Stuart, love the motion blur in the water, and the framing is awesome! What a great use of the towers in the background! We don’t use wellies for the beaches here….just wear sandals or go bare foot. That’s a great sky as backdrop to the water too.

Mate this is fantastic.. a real favourite! Love the blurred motion of the water as it pours over the edge and the framing is perfect.. great backdrop with what looks like a very interesting castle… fantastic light on the water and I love that yellowish glow. I see that you mentioned it was 2 degrees when you took this.. I did my first sunrises while in Canada… experiencing temps of -10 in the morning I am positely jealous!

Obviously my attention was grabbed by your lovely slow shutter work on the waterfall, but looking further in I was taken by the drama and mysetry of the twin towers lurking behind. I love that there is so much interest in this shot from the front to the back and the soft pastels of the sky also lend to the mystery… almost like the calm before an oncoming storm. Nice work!

This one is terrific, Stuart. Perfect exposure – the milky water is divine and the thick clouds with just a hint of colour just top it off. I really like the detail in the castle too – especially how you can still see the sky through the window. This one is a definite favourite.
