A beautiful shot Stuart with so much atmosphere….. I think you’re possible quite nutty for being out in minus 4 temps….. the things we do…...

Stuart, this is beautiful. Very rich. Interesting mackerell skies. I like your other photos of Kent very much too.

This has to rank in your top 3 at least Stuart …. love the mackeral sky and the jet streams in perspective which give a surreal holocaulistic view to the fruit trees, with the road as the only escape ….... you have thrown down your own gauntlet ….........

And it feels every degree of it – the crisp coldness is just palpable here Stuart from the frosty quality to the light on the ground to the pristine sharpness of the clouds (further reinforced by those few narrow diagonal cloud lines). Such a perfect depiction of a winter pastorale.

Tiz Nice. Super sky and nice shadowed frost over what seems to be an orchard – love the craggy trees – time to prune off those water shoots – long cold job!

Wow, Stuart… this is fantastic and what a difference to the other summer shot on the right! Even without a covering of snow, you can really feel the cold in this shot. These are the kind of English winters days that I remember and love… a crisp cold day with gorgeous sunshine, which unfortunately dont happen often enough!
Brilliant light in this and I love the trails in the sky. Very nice!

Wow Stuart, looking at you map these are the orchards on the farm land by Hollow lane and Iffin Lane, but the image shows crops and not ochards yet i remember there being orchards there, have they been cut down? I see there are new houses on the Wincheap side of the A2, where there was some furniture place, pine?we used to walk a huge loop past the furniture place up around the farm then out by the junction of hollow Lane and Iffin lane…..... lovely image….......
Alex Stojan
