this reminds me of a time in my life when i cried so hard, then the tears went away, my eyes became sleepy and i began to dose off feeling numb, yet calm and I sensed a touch of healing.

misty, moody and entrancing Stuart.
...another freezing morning on the coast of England I assume, and what a treat it looks to be. Like your new layout too, including the map link we talked about.
the 1 sec exposure has done wonders for the moving water, especially around the featured rock, and I love the reflective glow of the sun off the distant sea.

Wow this is wonderfully atmospheric Stuart. I love the low contrast and subtle hues, but what I love mostly is the streak of sunlight reflecting off the water which points directly to the beautiful movement in the foreground. Nice one!

I do like landscapes in portrait format… they always become a great study in composition and this shot like many others of yours works very well, nicely divided into thirds with interest in each.
This has a great dreamy quality to it and I love the movement of the water at the base of shot aswell as that streak of light hitting the water.
Oh and good idea to add the map location.
Mel Brackstone
Beautiful work, Stuart, love the double sun, and the wonderful soft water over the rocks. That awesome sun trail leads the eye nicely through the shot too!
