Shot narrative:
Another scorching day today and the English Countryside is a lovely place to be right now.
The title comes from Deb Parkin laughing at me everytime I comment on a lazy sunny shot with “I could sit here and have a lemonade”. Apparently I do that a lot.

Time for the Harvester…really nice image Stuart.
Naomi Frost
Wow, Stuart. What a great sky and the way you have framed the shot really accentuates it. Nice tones too. You should get your IR filter out and give it a go…would come up a treat on a scene like this. (I’m going to have to live vicariously through others till my new one arrives…lol)

Agree with Naomi, this cries out for infrared! Sweeping lines from crops and sky….beautiful!

Just beautiful Stuart, what a gorgeous sky and the warm glow on the field is so inviting.
Sarah Moore
Lemonade huh? You are a wild and crazy man! This is beautiful, it could almost be an Australian field!
Wendy Slee
definitely a unique title…and the expanse of textures and patterns you have captured is just as unique….(so you like bubbles do you?) lol
Squealia
Nothing nicer than the English countryside on a nice sunny day :o)

Fantastic image Stuart. The sky scape is particularly interesting, as though the sweeping shapes of the field are reflected in the sky. The light in the foreground is just superb with leading lines taking your eye throughout the image.
Tracey-Anne Pryke
stunning work
Deborah Parkin
This has to be one of my favourites of yours Stuart. I love the darkness and the drama of the sky and the lighting on the corn/wheat/barley (take your pick lol) is soothing and beautiful. I think the title sums this image up beautifully … there definitely is an innocence about it. I am almost waiting for Julian, Dick, Anne, George and Timmy the dog to appear over the horizon :)

Its been such a long time since I experienced a summer in England and this image has rekindled many memories. It is wonderful how you’ve captured the tension in the atmosphere.
Angi Baker
Beautiful image

This had me puzzled for a while….....I found myself looking for a song title – but it wasnt even close, as my answer was:
Picture yourself in a boat on a river,
With tangerine trees and marmalade skies
Somebody calls you, you answer quite slowly,
A girl with kaleidoscope eyes.
Cellophane flowers of yellow and green,
Towering over your head.
Look for the girl with the sun in her eyes,
And she’s gone.
Lucy in the sky with diamonds.
Follow her down to a bridge by a fountain
Where rocking horse people eat marshmellow pies,
Everyone smiles as you drift past the flowers,
That grow so incredibly high.
Newspaper taxis appear on the shore,
Waiting to take you away.
Climb in the back with your head in the clouds,
And you’re gone.
Lucy in the sky with diamonds,
Picture yourself on a train in a station,
With plasticine porters with looking glass ties,
Suddenly someone is there at the turnstyle,
The girl with the kaleidoscope eyes.

The light in this is absolutely insane Stuart! And when you drop that sublime sky in as the backdrop you have an image that nearly made me break my favourite button.
