Ahhh…you found the bluebells then mate! Wonderful shot Stu. Love the jutting diagonals of the trees and the lovely swathe of bluebells that carpet the wood floor. The shaft of silver light coming in from the right is just dreamy…..lovely shot Stu!

I found them indeed and didn’t have to drive as far as Blue Bell Hill either. You’ll also like the fact that this was f/3.5 and hand held!

You’ve made me proud LOL

Good to hear that you’re free from the shackles of your tripod Stu and exercising your artistic licence with the ray of light …... more power to your imagination, rev it up, let’s have it !!!!

Very nice shot mate.. you must be very happy with this one with that fantastic shaft of light! Brilliantly captured! The carpet of bluebells make for a typically English spring image… reminds me of home!

yep, that’s the one LOL!!! It reminds me not just of living down south but also one of my favourite books/film Howards End by E.M Forster – there is just the most gorgeous seen in which he walks through a bluebell wood – mile upon mile – this just makes me feel to happy and so homesick – thanks Stuart :0)
