Shot narrative:
Having wanted to capture a waterfall since getting my DSLR, I thought I would be in for a wait as they’re aren’t any near where I live (or so I thought). Catherine Veal uploaded a waterfall shot a couple of months ago, and much to my surprise there is an artificial one (the water is not naturally flowing) just down the road from me.

Nice landscaping job – except for the visible grille – but youve got a cracking shot – smooth water, great clarity, and nice rich colouring – job jobbed!

Glad that you finally got your waterfall shot! This is fantastic.. nice silky qualities to the water as it pours over the falls.. not bad for a bit of landscape gardening!

Hi Stuart, this is a great capture of a waterfal. It even looks natural. I may have to pay a visit to Thanet. I miss the streams and falls on Dartmoor. Don.
