The Fairlane held center stage in a local car show. 6 city blocks are blocked off and cars are on lined both sides of the sides of the streets and sometimes in the middle or center stage like this beauty. Most years it is @ 500 plus cars and bikes.
The car rides a little bit high in back , so for artistic value I angled the camera to place the lines more horizontal , the wide lens really accented the long lines.

This brings back memories (don’t want to tell you how anicent I am) I had a friend that had one of these Ford’s with the retrackable top. It was one beautiful car!

Hah , you’re not old, just experienced! Sounds like it was a great car, this is the first I’ve seen with roof working, sadly more often than not they are broken or can’t find parts to function..
