Venus in furs
Attempt to copy the famous painting by Tiziano:”Venus at a mirror”.
The painting inspired the novel by Leopold von Sacher-Masoch “Venus in furs”, which, in turn, inspired the homonym song by the Velvet Underground.
“Shiny shiny, shiny boots of leather
whiplash girlchild in the dark
Comes in bells, your servant, don’t forsake him
strike, dear mistress, and cure his heart”
