I’m a 20 years old girl who lives near Milan

I study medicine though I’ve always been keen on art, music and literature, which I think of as my personal shelter from the ordinary routine.

My approach to those disciplines is quite eclectic, I have fun in finding bonds and links between the past and the present, as I like seeing human history as a “circle in evolution”, where things change and things remain the same.
My, kinda utopian, dream is to gain a knowledge as vast and complete as possible of them.
I’m fascinated by any form of art as I believe that’s the only way to express and communicate human nature in general…that is its inner aspects, its capability to relate with the society, its own more or less hidden paradoxes, its tragicomedy…All in all, the theatrical condition of our little lives funnily struggling in our personal universes…

I appreciate the old classics such as Michelangelo, Leonardo, Raffaello, but I also love Surrealism, Magritte, Abstractism, Pollock and Banksy.

I’d love to have a more consistent movie-knowledge, but I couldn’t find the time yet, though I really like Kubrik, especially Full Metal Jacket and Eyes Wide Shut.

I nonetheless find the time to read a lot. My favourite writer is definately Dostoevskij, though I nerdishly (:P) enjoy different kind of literature, from Dante to Bukowski, from Kafka to Kerouac, from Wilde to Calvino, from Baudelaire to Pirandello.

Ok, now music. I’m really keen in old rock milestones, such as The Doors, Hendrix, Pink Floyd, Beatles, Rolling Stones, Bowie, Velvet Underground.
Moreover, in a random scale, Joy Division, the Cure, Radiohead (I’m going to fall in love with anyone who’ll dedicate to me Creep, or Fake Plastic Trees, or Thinking about you :P), Metallica, The Mars Volta, Nirvana, Clash, Talking Heads etc…
I also enjoy ska-punk funny songs though, see Rancid, Millencolin, No use for a name…
And last but not least De Andrè and Guccini, two poets more than two singers.

Ow and…I’m usually not this loquacious O_O

Instants

Every muscle of my body scream for the walk of their life, / Invisible hands pushing me forward, I go ahead dodging the crowd…it’s not even me anymore but I’ve never felt so alive…

To a blood donor

Maybe you’re my guardian angel. If so, where’s your halo, and how did you manage to hide your wings?
