The Batting Of An Eyelash by Vince Scaglione

Dusk over a body of water, the clouds and sky seem to accompany all creation in an effort to portray The Lord batting his eye or perhaps winking at all who would, at that very moment, need his blessed assurance of love, mercy and tenderness plus the added deliverance of their soul from whatever troubles them in their time of need. It is my belief that Psalms 33:18,19,20,21 & 22 express this sentiment nicely . . . Psalms 33: 18 – “Behold the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy:” 19 – “To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine.” 20 – “Our soul waiteth for the Lord: he is our help and our shield.” 21 – “For our heart shall rejoice in him: because we have trusted in his holy name.” 22 – “Let thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us, according as we hope in thee.”

I love weather and photography so I try to spend most of my spare time enjoying both! I am an amateur tornado/storm chaser so I do get some nice opportunities to capture nature at it’s fierce moments, but I also love to capture Gods canvas at dusk in the way of sunsets! I have a lot to learn but I am willing to go through whatever it takes in order to do so!

A beautiful work….and I love the scriptures that you chose to bring it “Home” Di

  • Thank you so much! Times demand more faith, love and forgiveness now more then ever! There is hope though and I know you know where to find it, I just hope and pray the lost will soon realize the battle has already been fought and won by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!

This is the kind of sky that I just enjoy watching till the sun goes completely down. Very peaceful and tranquil. What a pleasant, restful way to end the day’s work.
