My formal Training was the University of S. Dakota Vermillion – College of Fine Art in the Bachelor of Fine Arts program. I continued polishing my skills on my own over time. In 1996 I attended the University of Indiana at South Bend – Studying with Sculpture Master, “Tuck Langland. This was the period when my work took on a 3rd dimension. I now greatly enjoy sculpting in Soft Stone such as Alabaster and Marble, often uniquely combining the elements of Stone, Wood, and Metal to speak of the organic origin of all we know on this Earth. In Native American traditions – ALL things have life, and ALL is sacred and emerges from the Great Mystery. To me, Art celebrates and honors this truth. Each expression of life is a facet of the Great Mystery.
