Thousands have taken a picture of this famous landmark.

A much over shot image I know, nothing new here, but once again I just could not leave this place without a shot of this great sculpture.

I have taken several photos of this over the years, but I do believe this is the best.

Much to appreaciate here.

Though this nation has falen far from what it was back then, we still live in the Greatest Nation in the World.
Sculptured (I do beleive) through much blood sweat and tears.

It is very possible I could take some heat for the following statement, if I should be removed from RB then let it be done.
If you are proud to be an American then say it with me:
We are still
“One Nation Under God”

Started photography in my mid teen years. Beginning with a Brownie Starmite camera taking slides. I continued advancing always improving on my abilities until finally investing in a SLR (Single Lens Reflex) camera.
I kept advancing through the 35mm film erra and into the Digital world of Photography. I have always Shot with Canon Cameras and today I shoot with the Canon Eos 7-D.

Even I took this shot awhile ago. Great image Tim.

  • Thanks for the comment Teresa. Don’t know where you took your shot from, this one is not in the park, but from the highway going down toward Keystone.

I know exactly where and I took one of mine from the same spot. I have others from inside too. It’s a very beautiful place and so worth visiting.

Great shot Tim, and I totally agree with your statment. I remember visiting this landmark as a child and I remember feeling amazed at the sight. This year I took my husband to this site and I loved seeing the look of awe on his face.
