I like the subtle change in shade from top to bottom. You have really caught the rusty texture of the iron. Although the chain as a whol makes a random pattern of folds, the links join together in a regular, ordered way which illustrates how even chaotic situations can be ordered and predictable at a basic level. I think that’s the chemistry teacher in me coming out – thinking of polymer chains.

You know I heard of a guy who stole more of these than he could swim with, at least that is what the sheriff said who found him in the water wrapped in chain, Seriously I like this, the colors, the shapes make it a simple but excellent picture.
