Lovely play with light and shadows here, Lee. Great work x
Very nice Lee! : )
No snow Eva darling!!!!Must look weird from your point of view to see a city in mid winter with no snow!!!!Thanksxx
Ah, yes ~ this is what makes cities smile. Well done, Lee!
Thanks very muck SheilaIt’s nice getting around the back streets & alleyways to really see a city.I had fun this day..but was nice to get back to country the next day (home)Cheers Lee
Nah… it’s fairly common here in town too… rain and darkness is more what this city is about in winter.. lol And yeah, never been so darn cold as here in the south…. probably has to do with the humidity…
Not sure that I could get used to lengthy darkness..We are probably hard pressed in mid winter to be 12 hours day, 12 hours night….Where I live is a fairly high rainfall for a temperate climate of 1000 ml, or 40 inches of rain a year. This year we are well past that…with more to come.In tropical far north Queensland they measure rainfall in feet, not inches….One area there gets some of the highest in the world….Australia is the driest continent in the world….but not all of it is dry though…Big country with great variationHave a fun sunday (well it is sunday morn here… (back to the painting…)xx
Well I know that…. that there’s a lot of variation in your BIG country : ) The nights are even longer where I come from… in mid-winter the sun comes up at abou 10:30am and goes back down again at around 2-2:30pm…. it kind of just roll across the horizon… lol For me though, I feel it’s lighter up north then here, probably ‘cause of the snow that reflect the moon and stars… also, you get it back during summer… around mid-summer the sun is only down 2-3 hours a night lol.. and further north it doesn’t go down at all around that time lolWell… you have a lovely Sunday sweets… I’m soon off to bed (12:30am here…)xox
Go on then go to bed…I’ll just ignore you & march on regardless….I’ve not been to your northern climes.Would be lovely to see & experience it though..I won’t say any more until you’ve woken refreshed after a good nights sleep & ready to face your morning meusli!!!!!Sleep tight xx
Well if you do, I’d love to show you around :DThanks!!!Huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuugs & xx : )
It’s a deal…if I ever make itnow go to bed!!!!!!!
walked through here Friday evening (on my way to the footy) — you’ve caught the light and ambience well mate!
Thanks a lot Harrymid morning in the middle of winter can throw some interesting possibilities…Cheers mate I was happy how it turned out tooSo were you a happy Woodsman on friday night, or just acknowledging that the Saints have to do a fair bit to do to be where the B/W’s have got to????At least my lot scored a win today to give them hope for the future…The Tiger is stirring….. actually I think he really just stretched himself, came out for a nibble, & will go back to sleep for another couple of years!!!!! With just the occasional foray out for a feed Cheers Lee
Been a rabid Pies man for 40 years — no cure for it I’m afraid. Yep, good to see the Tiges giving a bit of a yelp this arvo.
Sorry mate…here’s me thinking you were a really nice bloke too!!!!!!A person of great judgement & good taste…..Aaaaaah well.. ya can’t win ’em all!!!!!But the Pies might, again!!!!!Bugger it…..
I did… that’s over and done with, been out and about and now I’m back again lol…
Breaky, eh…probably sometime in the afternoon…did you have a nice sleep????xx
