And they grow up and move back home!!!
Well these little ladies aren’t mine to start with Larry!!!!
There is no “back home” for our kids because my wife & I left home [in the suburbs] & moved to the country. So none of the kids want to live here, they’re not invited & it was never theirs in the first place.
Don’t get me wrong we love all our kids but this is our time now!!!!
A friend of mine said to her daughter many years ago when, after a broken relationship & the request to move back home was made,
“I would love you to come home darling, but you’re not staying are you????”
& she got the hint & didn’t arrive!!!!
Get tough mate…
