I only feel brave cos the damn thing basically ran us off the road…
I felt for all the “grey nomads” & their caravans being pushed to the side of the road as they tried to negotiate these inland arteries. My wife & I were in a hire car having flown in/out of Normanton!!!

gosh! i heard about them but never actually seen one. great image. i have to hold my breath or my lungs will be filled with dust in a minute. ;-))
The sealed part of the road often narrows & you are forced onto the edge, as you can see Ursa…
it can get a bit scary when they go past!!!!
& yes they are very big & long…
& they don’t move over to share the road either
