City Scene 1
This is an illustration from an animation I’m developing. The City of Melbourne was my main influence. The fountain was a simplified version of the one at the Exhibition Buildings. I made it into a banner like format so that the original is cropped into two images (see city scene 2). I like using thick black outlines to produce my illustrations and distorting the perspective to make it more dynamic.

I actually didn’t didn’t know about Howard until after I did this. I produced this image about five years ago. Not long after I went to an Arkely exhibition at Melbourne Uni (I work there) and I was totally blown away!
I also work in multimedia. I do a bit of animation too. Check out www.hangerdesign.com.au
